Russell Area Technology Center (From the desk of Mr. Trimble) We were thankful to have the opportunity this week to have another member of our community visit our school and share his wealth of experience with our students. Chris Mokas is the Director of Human Resources at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, and he was kind enough to take the opportunity to visit with students from multiple classes on Thursday. During his time with them he discussed the process of seeking a position with a company and reviewed some previous work our students had completed on this topic. We are very blessed to have a community of people with diverse experience who are willing to take time out of their busy schedules to bring real-time, real-world information to our students. Our teachers and students really enjoyed this opportunity, and we appreciate Mr. Mokas making it happen for them. Russell Preschool (From the desk of Mrs. Staton) Mrs. McKee and Ms. Snyder's classes learned about farm animals this week. They milked a cow!! Mrs. Moore's classroom had such a wonderful time learning about pumpkins, that they spent more time this week on pumpkins. They learned about the life cycle of a pumpkin. They splashed in the water to test their hypothesis of pumpkin buoyancy. What’s happening at central office / district this week?
