RIS Mission: Our mission is to inspire and empower all students to reach their maximum potential: one student, one lesson, one day at a time. Things I CAN Control…
Continue to focus on the RIS four core beliefs: It’s about Kids! —Accountability—Transparency—Communication. Positives across the district……….. Our students also had Thanksgiving Lunch on Thursday. The Cafeteria Staff really went above and beyond! Who would have thought that pumpkin pie would've been such a hit with with 5-8 year olds. They loved it!! Russell-McDowell Intermediate (From the desk of Mrs. Wright)

We practiced our gross motor skills this week by hopping, jumping, running, & shaking our tail feathers like Little Turkeys!! We also did the Turkey Pokey to practice our gross motor skills. To practice our fine motor skills, we created spin art to make turkey feathers, matched colored feathers to turkeys, & practiced writing our names on turkey feathers.
