Each week I will highlight some of our opening day themes: Vision Statement #1--Our Students are our top priority! RIS Mission: Our mission is to inspire and empower all students to reach their maximum potential: one student, one lesson, one day at a time. Things I CAN Control…
Continue to focus on the RIS four core beliefs: It’s about Kids! —Accountability—Transparency—Communication. Positives across the district……….. Russell Primary School (From the desk of Mr. Cassity)
Russell-McDowell Intermediate (From the desk of Mrs. Wright)
Russell Middle School (From the desk of Mr. Moore)
Russell High School (From the desk of Mrs. Chaffin)
Russell Area Technology Center (From the desk of Mr. Trimble) We want to congratulate Mackenzie Cole, Bethany Bloss and Chloe Porter for their success in the Tri-State Dare to Dream pitch contest. These students worked hard to create entrepreneurial pitches to present to local business leaders at Shawnee State University, and they won 1st place. This is the second year these students have competed in this contest, and they have had great success both years! Russell Preschool (From the desk of Mrs. Staton) This week we enjoyed making kinetic sand, giving Spike, our bearded dragon, another bath, making bunny collages, & our Peeps Science experiment!! We are looking forward to our upcoming field trip to Petland & our egg hunt!! What’s happening at central office / district this week?
It’s a great day to be a Red Devil!! Have a great week Russell! Sean
