Russell Independent is proud to celebrate our students, staff and community with the latest State Assessment Results. The Kentucky Department of Education must meet federal requirements for identifying the lowest performing schools for Comprehensive Support and Improvement and those schools that qualify for Targeted Support and Improvement. Schools that exceed cut scores are classified as Other this year.
Russell Primary, Russell-McDowell, Russell Middle, and Russell High have exceeded all state cut scores and each school has earned the Highest Distinction Category of Other as defined by the Kentucky Department of Education.
