We learned our new finger play, Five Little Pumpkins & read a take home book to go with it to share with our families. We created shape pumpkins & story retelling boards. We also sequenced the life cycle of a pumpkin. We also played in our pumpkin patch in the dramatic play center. Mrs. Moore's Class: We carved a new pumpkin...it was great! We learned about the life cycle of a pumpkin. We read Go Away Big Green Monster, and made Monster cookies and mixed up a batch of "Witches Brew" for snack. Mrs. Delong and Mrs. Stephens' Class: This week we dissected a pumpkin and talked about the parts and life cycle of a pumpkin. We dyed the pumpkin seeds different colors and made our name with them! We read several pumpkin books and played a pumpkin shape matching game. We also made pumpkin playdough and a "Witches Brew" snack! We have had a fun and busy week! What’s happening at central office / district this week?
