Russell Preschool (From the desk of Mrs. Staton) Mrs. Grizzle's Class:This week the Little Turkeys in Room 207 read There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed A Turkey & learned a new fingerplay, "The Five Little Turkeys". We acted out the story & fingerplay then sequenced both of them too. We also learned the Turkey Pokey & Turkey Hop!! We practiced lots of math skills too like shape identification, counting, & number recognition. Busy week full of learning!! A HUGE THANK YOU to AEG & PNC Bank for funding our STEAM/fine motor materials, "Building Strong Muscles & Strong Problem Solving Skills!!” Mrs. Moore's Class:We learned about being Thankful, We made turkeys, using the letters of our names as feathers. We learned about the First Thanksgiving, and how the Pilgrims and the Native Americans became friends. We are looking forward to our Thanksgiving Feast on Tuesday, to celebrate our Preschool Friendships! Mrs. Delong and Mrs. Stephens' Class:We have read Thanksgiving stories and talked about what we are thankful for. We used our fine motor skills to make a Thanksgiving bracelet!
